Cuppa Tea is excited to announce its soft opening this Thursday, April 17, 2025, at its new location at 838 Rockville Pike, previously home to Tea-Do X Mochinut, which closed last October.
Known for its Hong Kong-style milk tea, the brand has gained global popularity, boasting over 800 locations worldwide.
This new Rockville location follows Cuppa Tea’s successful debut in nearby Montgomery County at 1112 Taft Street.
The tea shop, which first introduced itself to the U.S. in 2021, offers not only milk tea but also Taiwanese-inspired dishes like bento boxes, egg waffles, and curry balls.
While it’s still unclear whether the Rockville store will feature the full menu, locals can expect to enjoy a refreshing milk tea experience and a taste of Taiwan.
