The crown jewel of this series is the Taro Mochi Milk Tea ($7.70/$8.50), a luxurious concoction that combines PlayMade’s signature milk tea with a generous dollop of earthy, house-made yam paste. What sets this drink apart is the inclusion of soft, handmade mochi chunks, which melt in your mouth with every sip.
The orh nee layer itself is thick, creamy, and studded with taro chunks, creating a rich texture. For balance, it’s best enjoyed with a 0% or 25% sugar level, as the yam paste leans on the sweeter side. You can further enhance your drink by adding more handmade mochi or taro balls for $1.50 (regular) or $1.90 (large).
