YOYO! Fresh Tea Bar Launches First Outlet In India, Bringing Global Tea Innovation To Bangalore

YOYO! Fresh Tea Bar has officially launched its first outlet in India, choosing Bangalore as the launch city for its expansion into a nation with a deep-rooted tea culture. Located near Trinity Circle, the outlet marks the brand’s debut on Indian soil, with plans for broader growth across the country. Founded by Wing Li and introduced to India by franchise partner Jose Mohan, YOYO! Fresh Tea Bar aims to captivate Indian tea enthusiasts with its dynamic, customizable offerings and contemporary take on tea.

With over 12 years of experience transforming tea culture in Europe, YOYO! Fresh Tea Bar has become renowned for its innovative bubble tea concept, signature pink branding, and the unique addition of warm bubble teas. These comforting, seasonal beverages add a fresh twist to the globally popular bubble tea trend, offering tea lovers a cozy option during cooler months. YOYO! now seeks to establish a similar legacy in India, blending the country’s rich tea heritage with its creative, modern approach.

Bangalore, known for its vibrant food scene and openness to innovation, was the natural choice for YOYO!’s first location in India. With a robust franchise model, the brand plans to expand to other metropolitan and emerging cities across the country.

The global bubble tea market, valued at $2.75 to $3 billion in 2023–2024, is expected to grow to $5.4 billion by 2030–2032. The South Asia and Pacific region is one of the largest and fastest-growing markets, driven in large part by younger consumers who are drawn to bubble tea’s unique flavours and customizable options. YOYO! Fresh Tea Bar aims to tap into this booming market by offering an exciting variety of beverages that combine local ingredients with global trends.

The brand’s expansive menu includes refreshing fruity infusions, artisanal iced teas, and the beloved bubble tea creations that have made YOYO! famous in Europe. As the largest bubble tea store in Bangalore, with a spacious 1800 sq ft area, the outlet offers a wide range of premium toppings such as tapioca pearls, popping bobas, and tropical jellies, allowing customers to fully personalize their tea experience.

“Our mission has always been to transform tea into a creative, dynamic experience, and India’s deep connection with tea makes it the perfect place for us to continue this journey,” said Wing Li, Founder of YOYO! Fresh Tea Bar. “We look forward to combining India’s rich tea heritage with our global innovations, creating experiences that resonate with both tradition and modernity.”

In addition to its global offerings, YOYO! Fresh Tea Bar has introduced an exclusive range of ‘India Specials’ created using locally sourced ingredients. These beverages are designed to blend traditional Indian flavours with YOYO!’s signature innovative approach, offering Indian tea lovers a unique fusion of the old and new.

“Our India Specials reflect our commitment to celebrating India’s diverse culinary traditions while offering a fresh perspective on tea,” said Jose Mohan, Master Franchise Owner of YOYO! Fresh Tea Bar India. “By sourcing ingredients locally, we’re not only crafting exceptional drinks but also strengthening the connection between global trends and regional traditions.”

YOYO! Fresh Tea Bar is dedicated to sustainability, sourcing ingredients from local farmers and minimizing its ecological footprint. The brand also plans to foster community-driven growth by offering franchise opportunities to local entrepreneurs, empowering them to contribute to the expanding tea culture in India.

With its fusion of global innovation and Indian traditions, YOYO! Fresh Tea Bar is set to become a leading name in India’s rapidly growing tea market.
