Taiwanese Bubble Tea Chain Kebuke Launches in Singapore with Special Promotions

Bubble tea continues to be a beloved staple in Singapore, evidenced by the numerous bubble tea chains that have emerged over the years. Adding to the excitement, one of Taiwan’s largest bubble tea brands, Kebuke, has officially opened its doors in the new Taste Orchard mall.

Kebuke, which translates to “are you thirsty?” in Taiwanese, started as a humble stall in Xiangshang Market, Taichung, in 2008. The chain has since expanded to over 280 outlets, with only one other international location in Hong Kong. The new outlet at Taste Orchard marks Kebuke’s first venture into Southeast Asia.

Kebuke is renowned for its tea, which is freshly brewed every four hours. Signature offerings include black tea (from $3.20), black tea latte (from $4.90), and brown sugar pearl black tea latte (from $5.70), made with three times the usual amount of tea leaves for a more intense flavor.

To celebrate its launch, Kebuke is introducing six Singapore-exclusive bubble tea flavors, featuring a new fruit tea series. Highlights include the Biscoff black tea latte (from $5.60) with Sri Lankan black tea and Biscoff spread, rice oolong milk tea (from $4.70), and the Proton Fruit Tea Series (from $5.80) which features tea poured over frozen fruit cubes in flavors like Jasmine green tea with strawberry or mango, Jasmine green tea latte with strawberry, and milk latte with mango.

Customers can enjoy a series of opening promotions by following Kebuke’s Instagram page. On June 9 and 10, there will be a one-for-one deal on Signature black tea (June 9) and rice oolong milk tea (June 10). From June 11 to 16, and June 18 to 20, free upsizes will be available for the Classic Tea Series and Proton Tea Series, respectively. Starting June 21, customers can receive a free Kebuke tote bag with the purchase of a large-sized Proton strawberry or Proton mango drink.

Kebuke operates daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 160 Orchard Road.
