Teahee, a new milk tea shop in the heart of Little Saigon, Denver, opened its doors with a vibrant celebration on May 10.
The grand opening featured a lively lion dance performance by the Guiding Mountain Dragon and Lion Dance Association, accompanied by the explosive sound of firecrackers.
As owner Cat Doan cut the ribbon, the crowd was treated to an exciting display of acrobatic lion dancers, who performed a traditional routine before tossing lettuce at Doan for good luck.
The shop, located in the Far East Center on South Federal Boulevard, immediately drew curious customers.
Among the offerings was the limited-time Pandan Coconut Cream drink, which provided a smooth and creamy taste with the distinct grassy notes of pandan, a Southeast Asian herb.
As expected, the boba (chewy tapioca pearls) added a satisfying texture to the drink, making it a perfect addition to the growing number of boba shops in the Denver area.
Teahee’s opening stands out not only for its bold celebrations but also for its commitment to offering unique, flavorful drinks that go beyond the typical boba experience, giving the local community something fresh to enjoy.
