Fresh ICMR Guidelines Advise Against Tea and Coffee at Certain Hours

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), in collaboration with the National Institute of Nutrition (NIN), has released 17 new dietary guidelines for Indian citizens.

Among these recommendations, a key advisory urges people to avoid consuming tea or coffee without maintaining at least an hour’s interval before or after meals. This guideline is aimed at optimizing nutritional absorption and overall health.
