East Side Opens Taichi Bubble Tea

For the first time in nearly two years, the lights are back on at 2028 E. North Ave. Taichi Bubble Tea, a national chain specializing in boba and ramen, has opened its doors on the East Side. This new addition joins the numerous concepts that have occupied the storefront next to Hacienda Taproom & Kitchen, which recently rebranded as Triple Taproom & Kitchen after incorporating Sheboygan-based 3 Sheeps Brewing Company into its offerings.

Originating from Rochester, NY, Taichi Bubble Tea offers a wide range of boba drinks, including fruit teas, milk teas, and hot teas. The menu also features specialty items such as dalgona coffee and blended beverages. For those with dietary preferences, alternative milks like soy, almond, and oat are available. Interestingly, despite its name, the powdered milk tea base is dairy-free, as confirmed by an employee.

Food options include a variety of ramen dishes, such as miso, tonkotsu, vegetarian, and spicy noodles. The cafe’s interior is bright and airy, a stark contrast to the maximalist and moody decor of previous tenants. Seating arrangements include a few tables near the front counter and additional seating in a quiet, lofted area of the building.

Taichi Bubble Tea is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., inviting guests to enjoy its fresh offerings in a welcoming environment.
