Starbucks Japan is bringing a tropical twist to its summer menu with two exclusive limited-time drinks. Inspired by the theme “Hotel Starbucks,” the new offerings aim to provide a relaxing escape from the summer heat.
The highlight of the release is the Oriental Mango & Tea Frappuccino. This refreshing drink is made with juicy mango pulp, creamy soy milk, and delicately fragrant jasmine tea.
It’s topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of rich mango sauce, creating a sweet and tropical flavor designed to evoke the feeling of lounging beside a resort pool in Asia.
Alongside the Frappuccino, Starbucks is expanding its Chillax Soda line with a new mango flavor. The Chillax Soda Mango blends fizzy soda with mango pulp and a green citrus-flavored syrup that includes over ten aromatic ingredients like lemon, lime, grapefruit, and mint.
The result is a crisp, fruity beverage that delivers a cooling sensation and a burst of citrus aroma with every sip—perfect for relaxing during Japan’s hot summer months.
Customers can also personalize their Chillax Soda drinks by switching out the soda for either black tea or passion fruit tea, free of charge.
The Oriental Mango & Tea Frappuccino is available only in Tall size for ¥707 (approx. US$4.91) for takeout or ¥720 for dine-in. The Chillax Soda Mango comes in two sizes: Tall from ¥579 and Grande from ¥624. Both drinks will be sold nationwide across Starbucks Japan stores from 28 May to 8 July, while supplies last.
