Famous food influencer Keith Lee recently took on a mission to find the best matcha tea in the Dallas-Fort Worth area — and he found a new favorite at La Casita Coffee.
The small milk tea and coffee shop, tucked inside a Half Price Books, impressed Lee with its strong, balanced matcha drinks, especially the Salted Honey Matcha, which he rated 8 out of 10.
Lee’s Dallas matcha tour included stops at several local spots, sampling unique drinks like the fruity Cherry Blossom matcha and the banana horchata matcha.
Though some drinks didn’t quite hit the mark for him, La Casita’s offerings stood out for their rich, earthy flavor with a perfect sweet-salty balance.
As part of his visit, Lee left $500 at La Casita Coffee to cover drinks for future customers eager to try their matcha creations. The shop celebrated his visit on social media, calling him “our matcha.”
Known for boosting local businesses, Lee’s visit could spark a surge in fans eager to taste La Casita’s famed milk tea blends, continuing his impact on North Texas’ vibrant beverage scene.
